The association of coronary artery disease with age, gender and affected coronary segments

The study aims to determine the age-gender distribution of individuals with and without coronary artery disease (CAD) analyze percentage size CAD detected in different segments by gender, including right (RCA), left main (LMCA), circumflex (Cx), anterior descending (LAD). research was conducted Batman Training Research Hospital's digital subtraction angiography (DSA) unit using data obtained between April 2019 July 2020. Coronary arteries were divided into proximal, middle, distal segments, stenosis measured as a for each segment. Among patients CAD, gender distribution, males showed significantly higher prevalence than females at rate 85.62% (p<0.05). group highest incidence lesions age-related 51-60, accounting 32.45% cases. most common parts narrowing according LAD-middle (64.36%) RCA-proximal (49.47%).
